Last week I went on a vacation with my parents that shaped up, unexpectedly, to be a great adventure and a grand road trip. Man, I really need a road trip.

I was thinking today, how burned I am at the end of this semester, how frayed my nerves are and how heavy my heart is, how I need to get away. Just get away, go somewhere, anywhere. Riding the same road every day, the same old road, the same familiar stretch wears on my soul. I need to move beyond myself.
